Board your non-air-conditioned mini-bus for the approximately 30-minute drive along St. Vincent’s leeward coast to the Vermont Valley. Set out with your guide on an approximately 3/4-mile hike through the rain forest. Your guide points out the flora and fauna encountered as you travel a narrow and rustic trail winding across the hillside. Although previous hiking experience is not required, the trail includes several inclines and may be slippery. Hikers must negotiate protruding rocks and roots. Brewery Tour & Beach Bar Enjoy a real taste of St. Vincent with a tour of the St. Vincent Brewery and then visit a local beach bar. Board your air-conditioned transportation and drive through the capital passing many landmarks and places of interest on your way to the St. Vincent Brewery. Enjoy a cold EKU or Hairoun while en route to the brewery where they are produced. It was in 1985 that the German brewer, Hasse Brauerei went looking for a Caribbean island to establish a brewery. With St. Vincent’s rich history, its people, unique way of life and above all its crystal clear springs, St. Vincent met his pre-requisites and was chosen as the ideal location. Upon arrival, a guided tour will be provided and there will be another opportunity to enjoy a taste of the locally produced beers. Hike With Lunch Travel the leeward coast for a hike to dramatic Trinity Falls in the rain forest, and then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Board your transportation for the approximately 90-minute narrated scenic drive along St. Vincent’s leeward highway before turning inland and traveling to your trailhead. Meet your guide and receive an orientation and safety briefing. Then set out on an approximately one-hour hike through the rain forest to Trinity Falls. Along the trail, your guide points out sights of interest and recounts information about the rain forest habitat. Trinity Falls is a series of three falls cascading over 100 feet from the canyon above. At the falls, swim in the crystal waters of the Wallilabou River or relax in the lush tropical surroundings before hiking back to the trailhead. Volcano Summit Hike With Lunch If you are up to the challenge, you’ll definitely enjoy this guided hike to the summit of St. Vincent’s tallest volcano. Board your transportation for the approximately one hour and 15-minute drive to Dry River in the island’s Piton Range. La Soufriere, the volcano you ascend, occupies one-third of the island’s north coast and boasts one of the most perfectly shaped volcanic cones in the world. Your ascent begins in the bamboo forest zone on the volcano, approximately 1,200 feet above sea level. Follow your guide on the three-mile trek to the summit near 5,000 feet above sea level, traveling through the rain forest. From the summit, drink in the heady views and enjoy refreshments. | Coastal Cruise
To The Falls Of Baleine Climb aboard a comfortable excursion boat and cruise St. Vincent’s leeward coast to the dramatic Falls of Baleine. Board your custom, comfortable excursion boat for the approximately one-hour and 15-minute cruise along the leeward coast, passing seaside villages and black-sand beaches framed by palm trees. Complimentary soft drinks and rum punch are served throughout your tour. Nearing the falls, enjoy views of La Soufriere, the island’s massive volcano, and its old lava flows, now overgrown with tropical vegetation. At the falls, your boat typically docks and you walk a short, but sometimes rugged path to the falls. The magnificent Falls of Baleine is a single-stage waterfall that plunges 60 feet into a large pool suitable for swimming. Cool mountain water cascading from the dormant volcano above forms the waterfall. Enjoy approximately 45 minutes at the falls before the return cruise to Kingstown. Sailing Catamaran Board your sailing catamaran and enjoy an exciting sail to the largest of the Grenadine Islands - Bequia. Here there will be ample time to stroll its quaint streets before heading back to sea. Stop for some snorkelling prior to having time on Princess Margaret Beach for swimming and a delicious lunch. Board your sailing catamaran and set sail across the channel separating St. Vincent and Bequia. Enjoy ample time ashore to explore Bequia’s laidback waterfront dotted with boutiques and restaurants. Board the catamaran and sail past Moonhole, a famous and rather unusual residential community. See very unique Caribbean homes set in amazing rock formations and arches as you sail past. No plans are drawn for the houses; the shape of the finished house is governed by the contours of the land, immovable rocks and trees. Thus each house develops a personality of its own. The tour continues to Petit Nevis where you can view the historic Whaling Station which is the only one of its kind still operating in the Caribbean.
