St. Kitts
Welcome to the exotically beautiful island of St. Kitts.
Like no other island in the Caribbean, St. Kitts seems to embody a kind of
lush tropical paradise usually associated with the South Pacific. The
atmosphere here is palpably luxuriant. It is an intoxicating blend of
sunlight, sea, air and fantastically abundant vegetation.
At the center of St. Kitts stands the spectacular, cloud-fringed peak of
Mount
Liamuiga (pronounced Lee-a-mweega), a dormant volcano covered by a dense
tropical forest.
| The
One Thing You Don't Want to Miss |
 |
| Whether you're a history buff or just want to take in
the scenery, be sure to visit the 350-year-old estate, Romney Manor,
once owned by a British earl. The beautiful grounds include
magnificent gardens, exotic plants and an amazing African Saman
tree, which covers half an acre and is believed to be as old as the
estate itself. |
