Ship Highlights:
Blue
Hawaii Night Club: Inspired by the playful laid-back island
attitude, this lounge reflects the spirit of a local Hawaiian
beachfront dance club complete with a thatched roof and palm trees to
give an outdoor tropical feeling. It's the perfect place to share a
cocktail or to dance the night away.
|
Outrigger
Lounge: This lounge is inspired by the Polynesians who
navigated the Pacific Ocean and discovered Hawaii. They were known as
The Blue Water Sailors for their incredible exploits using the stars
as navigation charts. Their stately Koa sailing canoes, when not in
use, were protected by canoe house structures facing out to sea. It's
the perfect place to take in the views of the Hawaii islands.

- Plantation Club: This cocktail and wine bar is themed around
the Plantation era of Hawaii. The British Colonial-style ambiance
reflects the hospitality of a plantation owner's home from the late
1800s to early 1900s.
- Kahili Restaurant: The decor here is inspired by the Hawaiian
Royal Families and the rich history and pageantry of Hawaii Monarchy.
Contemporary cuisine is served and floor-to-ceiling windows offer
spectacular views.
- Palace Main Restaurant: A bold color scheme of vibrant
tropical colors sets the atmosphere for this Main Restaurant, offering
elegant five-course dining.
Royal
Palm Bistro: Themed on the royal and aristocratic gardens
during the Victorian era, NCL?s signature Le Bistro restaurant
features French Mediterranean offerings such as the traditional
Escargots in Garlic Butter; Mille-Feuille of Seabass with Tomato
Concass饬 and Tarte au Citron, the classic French lemon tart.

Dining
A hallmark of Norwegian Cruise Line is Freestyle Cruising
and a diversity of dining choices. On board Pride of Aloha, they include:
-
Palace Restaurant—One
of two main restaurants, vibrant tropical colors set the tone for
leisurely, five-course meals.
-
Crossings
Restaurant—Grand
yachts of the Trans Pacific yacht race from Los Angeles to Honolulu
inspire the theme of the second main restaurant.
-
Kahili Restaurant—Serving
contemporary Italian cuisine, the decor of this alternative restaurant
evokes the history and pageantry of the Hawaiian monarchy. (a
$15.00, plus tax cover charge applies)
-
Royal Palm Bistro—Similar to NCL's
signature upscale French Mediterranean restaurants, but with a
garden motif reminiscent of Hawaii's Victorian era.
(a $15.00, plus tax cover charge applies)
-
Pacific Heights Restaurant—Serving modern
Hawaiian cuisine with a Pan Pacific flair. Expect steaks, fish
from local waters, Asian specialties, and even pizza served amid
the modern art work of Hawaiian artists. (a
$12.50, plus tax cover charge applies)
-
Hukilau
Café—Buffet style indoor/outdoor eatery embodying the
laid-back Island spirit of a community feast.
-
Sprinkles
Ice Cream Bar serves frozen treats with all the trimmings and,
of course, room service never closes. Dining privately on one's
own balcony is a sublime treat.

The
Stardust Theater is the main venue for Pride of Aloha's
elaborate evening shows -- if you're not too tired from the day's
adventures to attend them, that is! There's a charming coffee bar/Internet
center (with wireless access); though the windowless space could feel
grim, the ambiance is light and airy with the help of a ceiling mural of
blue sky and puffy clouds. It adjoins the ship's Galleria, which offers a
complement of interesting and typical-for-ship-shops merchandise (lovely
Tommy Bahama clothing, for instance, and lots of NCL t-shirts ). One
omission: duty free items (due to the ship's all-America sailings, the
shop cannot offer them). Just down the corridor is the ship's golf shop --
it's elegant and well-stocked with everything from rent able clubs to
sporty fashions.
|
At the pool area on Deck 11, there's an assortment of musical
entertainment with Hawaiian flair throughout the cruise.
