What is a disclaimer?

A disclaimer is a legal statement which generally states that the person/group authoring the disclaimer is not responsible for any mishap in the event of using whatever object or information the disclaimer is attached to. This is generally done as a measure of legal protection; if someone hurts himself misusing something with such a disclaimer, he could not (legally) claim in a court of law that he was unaware of the potential safety risks

Trips and Travel is a travel agency acting as an intermediary or agent for suppliers, such as air carriers, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, ground transportation companies, and other independent firms. Trips and Travel does not own or operate any of these firms; therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers or cruise directors, which result in any loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your travel companions or group members. In addition, Trips and Travel cannot guarantee acceptable performance by any of these firms, or our cruise directors, and each participant agrees not to hold Trips and Travel liable for the quality of services and the condition or cleanliness of the accommodations. Unless the term "guaranteed" is specifically stated in writing on your ticket, invoice or reservation itinerary, we do not guarantee any of such suppliers’ rates, bookings, services or reservations. Your retention of tickets, reservations or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent of the above, and an agreement on your part to convey the contents hereto to your travel companions or group members. Trips and Travel herein gives notice that we cannot be responsible for any disruption of travel and/or unrest, labor problems, mechanical or construction difficulties, climatic aberrations, acts of God, war, diseases, or any other circumstances beyond its control. There are good travel insurance plans available for passengers to protect themselves. We are not responsible for the neglect or omission of suppliers or carriers, so we strongly recommend travel insurance.

Read Supplier's brochure Carefully. Supplier websites contain important information concerning your vacation. Carefully review supplier's policies concerning cancellation penalties. *Trips and Travel will impose a $25 p/p cancellation fee in addition to any supplier's penalties. The client assumes full responsibility for accurately completing and sending the cancellation form and correct fee to Trips and Travel. The client also acknowledges that Trips and Travel reserves the right to process cancellation requests up to two business days after they have been received. If applicable, locate your cabin to verify its location and bedding options. Dining is only on a request basis, cannot be confirmed, and is at the cruise line's discretion. Trips and Travel will not be held liable for any dining changes for whatever reasons. Verify that the ship, sail date, departure date (if different from sailing date) and itinerary on this invoice match the supplier's current brochure for accuracy.

Notification of Changes

Due to the rapidly evolving technologies on the Internet, we may occasionally revise or update this policy. All revisions will be posted to this site. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

Cancellation Information
*If you cancel your flight and other travel arrangements at any time after your booking has been accepted by us, then you must pay us a charge to compensate us for the expense and losses which we will incur as a result of your cancellation. We start to incur costs from the moment you make the booking. The closer your cancellation is to the departure date, the less likelihood there is of us being able to recover those costs by re-selling the flight and other travel arrangements at the website price. That is why our cancellation charges increase the closer the cancellation is to the departure date.. If you have to cancel for a reason covered by your insurance policy you should be able to recover your cancellation charges. The cancellation charges will be calculated in accordance with the table below and will be notified to you by us following your cancellation instruction. Where one or more members of a party which has booked a flight and other travel arrangements together wishes to cancel his or her flight and other travel arrangements, but the remaining members of the party do not, then the cancellation charge will be based upon the price of that person's or those persons' flight and other travel arrangements.
Please note: Cancellations are not in any way a profit center for us and if we receive a cancellation our sole endeavor is to complete the necessary steps without any duress for either party.
