Among the seven different class ratings for the Carnival ships, the Dream class is the newest. The Carnival Magic cruise ship is part of this class, and like its sister ship, the Carnival Dream, which launched in 2009, the focus will be on having a good time throughout the cruise.

One of the main fun features on the Carnival Magic is the WaterWorks aqua park, where you can spend hours splashing down the corkscrew waterslide; it's one of the best places for kids to spend the day. For adults only, the Serenity area covers two decks and provides ample space for enjoying a quiet break to relax in the sun with your favorite beverage.

Dining options are numerous onboard the Carnival Magic, and catering to kids is also important. With that in mind, casual dining is available, including a deli for sandwiches, a burrito bar, and a pizzeria.

Like the Dream, a new addition to the Carnival Magic cruise ship is the option of family cabins, which can accommodate up to five passengers instead of the standard four per cabin. Itineraries are not yet available for the Carnival Magic, but with the exotic destinations covered by Carnival cruises around the globe, passengers are sure to like what this ship has to offer.
