We
highly recommend that all guests purchase our Vacation Protection Plan.
The Plan covers trip cancellation, interruption, baggage and contents,
and accidents. Depending on the policy, and the level of protection
desired, you may be protected against such losses.
Carnival’s Cruise Vacation Protection Plan makes comprehensive,
high-quality protection available to you at an affordable price.
Carnival provides you with peace
of mind because the unexpected does
sometimes occur. If you choose not to purchase insurance, Carnival’s
liability is limited to baggage, contents, and personal possessions
to a
maximum of $50 per bag and a maximum total limitation of $100 per
stateroom regardless of the number of bags. Carnival cannot accept
liability for loss or theft of money, jewelry or other valuables kept in
the stateroom or public areas on board. For your convenience, all ships
have in-stateroom safes. There is also a limited supply of safety
deposit boxes at the Information Desk for storage of larger valuables.
There is no charge, however there is a $25 refundable key deposit
required. We highly recommend you carry any valuables, medication,
breakable items, and other carry-on items, including video cameras, on
your person when embarking or disembarking the vessel.
