Cancun
is the home of exciting nightlife, and must be the best place in
Latin America
to let your hair down and party. With scores of
nightclubs and hundreds of bars no |
wonder Cancun is also
regarded as one of the premier destinations for Spring breakers
and lends its name to the famous saying "What happens in
Cancun stays in Cancun.

Bulldog
Cafe, Cancun
An original concept, Bulldog Cafe Cancun offers the latest in
light systems, laser beams, special effects, and live music. Also,
the place is specifically designed to allow an excellent view of
the stage, with large bars that offer fast open bar or table
service. |

Senor
Frogs, Cancun
A restaurant by day and lively nightclub by evening this place is
always busy. Famous sawdust dance floor, included with your entry
is a plastic yard glass to fill with beer or cocktails. Karaoke,
live bands and silly contests make this a fun Cancun night out.
Located at Km 10. |

The
City, Cancun
has capacity for more than 4,000 guests over 3 floors and has a
day time beach party. The 3rd floor is where the VIP area is
located; with comfortable sofas and carpet just for those people
that are keen on luxury. The highest standard in technology,
sound and light effects, as well as a stage designed for live
shows The City Cancun has already attracted live performances
from big names such as 50 Cent and renowned DJ Sasha to perform
at their venue. Future performances (as of 22 June) include
Oscar G, Sean Paul, The Basement Jaxx and Eminem.

La
Boom, Cancun
Easily spotted by the Red London bus outside and Olde English
telephone box La Boom typifies the excellent Cancun nightlife.
This nightclub lies a little outside of party central at Km 3.5
and boasts a top sound system, multilevel dance floor, several
bars and fantastic light show, this is probably the trendiest
Cancun nightclub with a European feel. Theme nights every night of
the week, such as Male Hot Body, Bikini Contest and Open Bar.
Split level dance floor, the open bar is definitely
recommended.

Coco
Bongo, Cancun
my personal favourite Cancun nightclub. Located at Km 9.5 in the
centre of the Hotel Zone this place is a must visit. Music
consists of salsa, techno and hits from the past 20 years. The
club has a stadium feel to it - a tiered bowl shaped arena with
hanging stage where action takes place throughout the evening.
Something different happens every few minutes from a live salsa
band to a guy dressed as 'The Mask' running round the bar pouring
tequila down the throats of anyone nearby. A large video screen
drops from the roof every so often playing classic hits and
bubbles, streamers or balloons fall from the ceiling. Classic
Cancun Nightlife.

Dady
Rock, Cancun
If you are looking for live music in Cancun this bar specialises
in live rock music, always offers an open bar and has different
contests every night. You wont find many sober people in here!
Located at Km 9.5 aka Party Central this place is just over the
road from Coco Bongo and adjoins Dady O's. The bar tends to close
about 1am but you can get a transfer ticket that allows you to go
next door to Dady O's.

Dady
O, Cancun
One of the most popular nightclubs in Cancun this place is Dady
Rocks big Daddy. Popular with both locals and tourists alike this
place is huge, again with a stadium type atmosphere. With 5 bars,
snackbar, fascinating light and laser shows and open until 6am
Dady O's is another must.

Tequila
Boom, Cancun
Adjoining La Boom is Tequilla Boom a video bar and club, lively
but with less techno oriented music and more rap and hip hop this
is the place to chill out.

Carlos’n
Charlie’s, Cancun
This great anything goes atmosphere with fun waiters and silly
games, remember that no one knows you here! You’ll find a packed
dance floor and live music every evening. Carlos’n Charlie’s
is situated at Km 5.5. The restaurant is open from 9 pm and the
bar is open from 11 pm to 2 am with DJ music daily. There are 3
service bars. One of them is a gigantic palapa overlooking the
lagoon, with partying, dancing, live music, DJ music, and lots and
lots of fun. Total capacity is 120 seated and 1,000 standing.
Cover charge applies later in the evening.
Carlos’n Charlie’s was one of the first restaurants of the
same group as Senor Frogs. A combination of international and
Mexican food such as shrimp, steak, enchiladas, fajitas, their BBQ
specialties and, of course, lobster. |
