Set sail for a great dining experience.
This twin-level dining room is decorated with homages to the
historic French ocean liner, the Normandie, which launched in
1935 and was queen of the trans-Atlantic liners until World War
II. The atmosphere is casual and social - chat away with other
passengers, swap stories of your adventures in port, and prepare
strategies for your next arrival. With seating for 1,250 people,
the Normandie isn't a quiet little restaurant, but it's one fun
banquet experience.
Carnival caters to kids - even in the Normandie Dining Room.
They've got a separate menu for them, and it comes in a coloring
booklet with a pack of crayons! And now, thanks to Carnival's
new staggered dinner times (with four seatings instead of just
two), eating in the main dining room is more convenient than
ever. |

Follow your muse, or follow your nose.
High up on the Lido Deck, with wide-open ocean views around,
this indoor/outdoor eatery offers a casual alternative to the
main dining room. By day, it's a great place for buffet
breakfasts (pancakes, omelets, eggs) and lunches (soups, salads,
sandwiches), and when night falls, Mermaids' converts to a cozy
bistro, with no-fee table service for dinner and a menu that
includes choices like shrimp in Chardonnay cream and roast leg
of spring lamb au jus. Best of all, there's no dress code, no
designated seating times, or assigned tables to worry about -
come as you want, when you want, and sit where you want. |

The art of a romantic dinner…
Carnival goes out in style with this 156-seat, two-level
restaurant. David's Supper Club is highlighted by a 12-foot
replica of Michelangelo's statute at its center, lending the
eatery either a gaudy tackiness or a touch of class…you
decide! Either way, David's is a more intimate alternative to
the bustle in the main dining room -- for a reservation fee of
$25 per person, you get a menu that includes crab claws from the
famous Joe's Stone Crab Restaurant of Miami, USDA aged prime
beef steaks - including an 18-ounce prime rib, 18-ounce
porterhouse, 14-ounce New York cut and a 9-ounce filet mignon.
It's all served in an ambient setting high up on the Sun Deck,
with a scenic balcony that's perfect for enjoying a cocktail as
the sun sets… |
 |
Located in a prime spot on the busy Promenade
Deck, this is the perfect spot to relax with an exotic cup of
coffee and a pastry and enjoy a bit of conversation and
people-watching. A popular rendezvous point for cruisers en
route to the casino, the discos or the night clubs on board. |

Sun and fun, food and drink…
When hunger strikes, don't worry…you don't have to give up
your perfect tanning spot out on the Lido Deck; just walk a few
steps and grab a burger or drink, then get back to the business
of kicking back. Life is tough! |

Thick or thin crust?
Located inside the Mermaids' Grille, this popular
round-the-clock stop serves made-to-order pies, plus garlic
rolls, calzones and Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. |
